Eventualities (2008)

Eventualities brings together my photographs with the texts of Corinne Dufermont, Sébastien Hoët and José Noce to explore the fragility of places, bodies, and relationships in a world in decay. Inspired by a sensibility akin to that of Jean Follain or Georges Perec, the work evokes the vulnerability of nature, dwellings, and living beings, symbolising both the uncertainty and the multiplicity of possible futures. Between the search for meaning, separation, nudity, the human condition, and the quest for identity or freedom, each image and each narrative fragment becomes an “open path”, an instant of existence. The mise en abyme between reading, fiction, and reality establishes a “zero point” (the “.0”) where everything remains to be invented, transforming the exhibition into a field of potentialities, a sensitive and critical sketch of worlds yet to come.
