Revelations (2005 - 2025)

Over twenty years of continuous artistic practice, I have developed a body of portraiture through an iterative process of painting and repainting, layering pigments and adhesive cement into a quasi-sedimentary surface. Drawing on Western, ancient and Indian pictorial traditions, I seek to evoke complex human presences that balance the tragic and the comic, softness and severity. By combining the subtlety of glazing with more pronounced textures, I aim to create timeless, profoundly human images, anchored in psychological depth and material resonance.
